Sorrry Luckygit....seemed to have a problem posting here in the Forum. Yes, I stuck with Chelsea. A hard battle but I am happy with 25 % profit. Also had 20% profit yesterday with Notts Forest. I go for regular small profits rather than bigger gambles.

I backed them as well for the win. Expected it to be a lot more comfortable though and was a little bit nervous as the game went on. Still, the win came in and profit was made. As for the small profits, dont you find that backing these small odds all the time is hard work. One or two loser at these small odds can lose everything you have built up over a much bigger number of bets ???.

Yes absolutely lucky . I go about 6 steps forward and 5 steps back. But I have gambled for years and never made much of a profit in the past. I am a lot more disciplined now and keep records. My gambling bank increases about 50 percent per annum. Most people would not be happy with that . They want to see thousands of percent increase . They will not make it. Bookies prices are adjusted so you never get value at the higher prices. Good luck with the rest of the week.

If you can managed that season after season then you must be doing something right. I would happily take that return....trouble is, I need to be more disciplined. I can sometimes double my bank and more in a season but have also come close to losing the lot. Note to self...DISCIPLINE. What odds do you normally look to back at then Rog ?

The highest I bet would be around 1.30 lucky and the lowest probably around 1.10 . That latter one is rare and would be something like PSV tonight where I am convinced of a win. I used to do what most people do and that is go formuch higher prices but fewer winners. Now I go for lots of winners but at very low prices. You are right.......financial discipline is key which is why probably 95 percent of gamblers lose in the long term. Anyway, lets end this topic. I am beginning to sound like I know it all and I do not .

The logic behind that idea is very sound but guessing that it is difficult to find consistant consecutive winners at those prices. As has been mentioned, you can have 6 or 7 winners in a row and the one loser brings you back to square one.
Not tried this method before but something that might be worth looking in to. Might be a good idea to start a second list of recommendations for these such odds and measure this over time to see how well it performs.
Out of interest Rog, do you just bet on the outcome of the game or do you look for next goal odds, number of goals etc etc...

I bet only on Wins. I avoid anything like guesswork ie number of goals.. scoreline.. shirt numbers etc etc. I try not to gamble but to invest. Guess what...I am not very rich LOL
