Overview of Formbetting.co.uk
The main purpose of this site is to identify betting possibilities in football
leagues across the world. I intend to make a constant, steady profit and have
not imposed any limits or timescales. I feel that having timescales
and targets to hit can change the focus when looking for the next selection.
I will look to publish my recommendations in plenty of time for the site users to take in to
consideration when they place their next bets. I wont look to change any bets
once a game has kicked off.
All selections published on the website, including the losing selections, in order to try
and learn some lessons from each and every selection. I would expect to keep a hit rate of at
least 70% but as I have learnt from past experience, winning streaks can send your hit rate sky high
but more often that not they are brought back down to earth by those losing streaks.
Its my aim to try and pick value bets, regardless of the odds, and keep the hit rate as high as possible
( stating the obvious there some what I think ).
Betting Recommendations
Every time a betting fixture gets posted, I will always publish it with a reason to back
it up. Occasionally, I may place a bet on the site where the description reads
“Currently Researching…”.
This is simply to inform the readsthat I am
considering this selection. It maybe the case that I decide to keep the bet
and a reason for the bet will follow shortly. However, it may also be the case that I
decide to pull the bet and in which case, the selection will be removed before
the game starts. No bets will be pulled once the game has kicked off.
I haven't set any criteria for the selections I make other than those I feel offer good value based on form.
Before posting a selection I'll consider current form, home/away form, recent results, team
news and any other factors that may effect the bet.
Once I'm confident of a
winning selection, I will rate the selection based on how confident I am of its
success. The recommendation will take the form of a Small, Medium or High stake.
It is up to the reader placing the bet how they interpret these values.
Staking Plans
I believe that a staking plan should be suited to the individual. I personally
have a staking plan that involves a set starter bank and each bet that is placed is determined by a
set percentage of the bank. For example :
A Small bet = 1% of the bank
A Medium Bet = 2.5% of the bank
A High Bet = 5% of the bank.
